Booking & Booking Fee Policy

All appointments are confirmed only when a non refundable 25% booking fee has been paid. Upon booking your appointment you have 24 hours grace period to pay your booking fee. If this does not occur than your appointment will be cancelled and available for other clients to book. These can be paid in cash at the salon, by using Fresha (booking app) or bank transfers.  

 
All booking fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. In the event of a cancelled appointment a 48hr notice MUST be given or booking fee will be forfeited.  

We respectfully ask that you provide us with a 48-hour notice of any schedule changes or cancellation requests. Please understand that when you cancel or miss your appointment without providing a 48 hour notice we are often unable to fill that appointment time. This is an inconvenience to your therapist and means our other clients miss the chance to receive services they need. For this reason, we ask for a 25% booking fee. If more than 48hrs notice for cancellation is given you will not incur charges and your appointment can be rebooked and your booking fee transferred. If we only receive a 24hr notice, your booking fee will be forfeited, and if no notice is given (“No Show”) you will be charged the FULL treatment price. 

We understand that emergencies can arise, and illnesses do occur at inopportune times. If you have a fever, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhoea within 24 hours prior to your appointment time, we request that you cancel your session. Inclement weather may also result in the need for late cancellations. We will do our best to give advanced notice if we are closing or need to cancel due to bad weather and we ask you to do the same. Please do not risk your own safety trying to make your appointment. Late cancellation due to emergency, illness, or inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charges, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis.

We reserve the right to refuse any treatment that would be deemed, on assessment inappropriate or that could put your health and/ or wellbeing at risk.

For any Aesthetics, PMU, or Fine Line Tattoos please note that STRICTLY no under 18s are allowed in the treatment room. If you arrive with a child that cannot be left unsupervised outside the treatment room, in the main salon area, then we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and charge the FULL treatment cost.

Patch Test Policy

Some treatments require clients to have a test patch prior to your appointment. Failure to do so in sufficient time will result in your booking fee being forfeited and your appointment cancelled.

We ask that you are honest with your patch test results, to ensure your treatment is safe and without adverse reactions.

ID Policy

If you are fortunate enough to look under the age of 25, please take no offence if we ask to see (and copy for Insurance purposes) photographic ID. Many of the treatments available at the salon are illegal to perform on Under 18’s and duly we must take every precaution to prevent such. 

We request that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow time to fill out any required consultation forms as well as to answer any intake questions your therapist may have. 

We understand that issues can arise that may cause you to be late for your appointment. However, we ask that you call to inform us if this ever occurs so we can do our best to accommodate you. 

Appointment times are reserved for each client, so often we cannot exceed that reserved time without making the next client late. For this reason, arriving after your appointment time may result in loss of time from your treatment so that your session ends at the scheduled time. Full-service fees will be charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival. In return we will do our best to be on time, and if we are unable to do so we will add time to your session to make up for our late arrival or adjust the service charge accordingly.

GDPR Privacy Notice

(Why we collect your personal data and what is done with it)

When you supply your personal data to Nolly Edel Aesthetics, they are stored and processed for the below reasons:

• We need to collect some personal information about you and your health in order to make sure there are no contraindications to your treatment, and legal requirements. You can of course, refuse to provide the information, however unfortunately we would have to refuse your treatment as this form is a legal requirement for our insurance.
• Provided we have your consent we may occasionally send you emails with our latest News and offers.
• We have a legal obligation to retain your records for seven years after your most recent appointment. After this time your records will be destroyed in a method compliant with GDPR.
• Records retained on paper, which is locked in a cabinet within the salon, is only accessible by staff at Nolly Edel Aesthetics
• Records recorded on the salon’s software, which is password protected and only accessible by staff of Nolly Edel Aesthetics
• Your phone number and email may be used electronically, with your permission. This is for appointment reminders or occasional offers.
• If you wish to contact us via social media, this is password protected but for historic issues with privacy associated with social media sites, you may wish to think about what you send us.
• We will never share your data with anyone who does not need access without your consent. Only Nolly Edel Aesthetics will have access to your data.
• You have the right to see what personal data of yours we hold and you can also ask Nolly Edel Aesthetics to correct any factual errors. Provided the legal minimum period has elapsed, you may also ask the business to erase your records.
• We would like you to be absolutely confident that we treat your personal data responsibly and that we do everything we can to make sure that only people who can access that data have a genuine need to. Of course if you feel we have mishandled your data in some way, you have the right to make a formal complaint.
